Dr. Laura Cisneros is committed to practical, conservative solutions for Brownsville and House District 38. Her priorities focus on lowering taxes, protecting families, strengthening education, improving healthcare, supporting law enforcement, and building the infrastructure our community needs.
Brownsville families are working hard enough without watching their property taxes continue to rise. Dr. Cisneros will work to make property taxes more affordable, increase transparency, and hold local taxing entities accountable for how taxpayer dollars are spent.
As State Representative, Dr. Cisneros will support meaningful property-tax relief and reforms that help homeowners keep more of what they earn.
Every family deserves to feel safe in their home and community. Dr. Cisneros will support strong border security, effective law enforcement, and policies that protect Brownsville families while respecting the rights of law-abiding Texans.

Brownsville needs infrastructure that works for the people who live here. Dr. Cisneros will work to improve drainage, address flooding, strengthen roads and transportation infrastructure, and protect the community’s access to a reliable water supply.
